2021 Grimme EVO Series 290 AirSep

The potato harvester, type EVO 290, is the logical evolution of the well proven SE-principle. This principle combines soil-sieving, crop-conveying and haulm separation in one single operation. Impressive performance meets profitable efficiency in this powerful 2-row, trailed potato harvester. Based on market requirements, crop handling and ground compaction protection could be maximised. As version "EVO 290 AirSep" GRIMME provides the first bunker harvester worldwide which is equipped with the unique, patented AirSep separator for stones and damp clods. Paired with Speedtronic, the machine makes work much easier for the picking staff, or even takes the work off their hands completely. The tricycle chassis, called TriSys, protects the ground due to its load distribution and ensures exceptional stability when unloading the enormous 9-tonne bunker. For maximum traction all three wheels can be driven hydraulically

Depending on the cultivation method (rows, beds, flat beds etc.), a wide range of different vegetables such as carrots, celeriac, red beet or onions can also be harvested besides to potatoes.

The revolutionary separator AirSep uses an air stream to separate trash from the crop stream at an early stage.

The very effective separation of stones and wet clods enables savings in picking staff.

Using the new tricycle-chassis, called TriSys, the soil contact surface can be increased by 65% compared to commonly used harvesters. Steering of all three wheels is standard and all wheels can be driven hydraulically.

The infinitely variable drive of the main webs is available for use in various conditions. The drive can be set independently of the PTO shaft speed of the tractor and can be reversed in case of blockages.

The EVO 290 is the first trailed potato harvester with a bunker capacity of 9 tonnes. This allows high acerage outputs to be achieved and avoids double passage with a full bunker on long fields.

The patented unloading bunker with reversing bunker floor and a capacity of 5.5 t enables non-stop harvesting with maximum crop protection. Compared to a conventional standard bunker, the digging capacity can be increased by 20 % to 30 %.

MyGRIMME offers various modules such as a powerful order management, an intuitive web shop, a map view and other functionalities such as a machine overview, so-called "geofencing" and a link to the data exchange platform agrirouter.
