2021 Grimme GT Series 170 S - RS

Harvesting procedures with continuous overloading are particular efficient. The 2-row elevator harvester GT 170 combines this high performance with maximum crop protection. The straight crop flow, minimal drop steps and a wide range of different separators are the most important arguments for this harvester. In addition, the open design of the main frame offers a very good view across the entire machine. With the patented MultiSep respectively double MultiSep, the machine can be adapted to all harvesting conditions. The proven technology is particularly gentle to the crop, even under the most difficult soil conditions. For haulm separation, the machine can be additionally equipped with a fine haulm elevator, a deviner web or blower. The length and flexibility of the cart elevator ensure a smooth and gentle discharge of the crop even into deep trailers.

Twice as much MultiSep for twice as much power - adaptable to a wide range of conditions.

For the most difficult soil and harvesting conditions, the machine can be equipped with a Roller Separator in combination with MultiSep.

The conveying pockets are closed on both sides by elastic rubber fingers. They enable gentle crop transport without friction. At the same time, the rubber fingers are so flexible that they can be used permanently and almost wear-free at all deflection points.

The cart elevator can be equipped with the perforated, high-strength, permanently elastic PU pockets, called OptiBag. The large-volume, net-like conveying pockets ensure an additional sieving of heavy soil during the overloading process of the crop.

• Blower: The airflow which is generated by the Blower, separates dry haulm and light trash from the harvest flow and conveys it to the rear and out of the machine

• A "Cascade"-sieving system loosens the crop flow without drop steps and agitator movements

• The hydrostatic wheel drive provides additional tractive force. This is particularly useful in wet harvesting conditions and in combination with narrow tyres on the tractor.

• Digital operator terminal VC 50 incl. colour display, touch-screen function and digital machine diagnostics realize a high operator comfort
