2021 Grimme GBF Series L-M-L

The GBF is a fully automatic box filler that can be used both during storage and during potato processing / grading. The adjustable intake height and the box positioning frame are suitable for filling a variety of different sized boxes. The hydraulically adjustable gooseneck reduces the discharge height into the box. The machine settings operated from the GBT operator terminal including Flow-Control line control to start and stop the complete feeding line.

Features may include:

• A sensor monitors at any time the discharge height and automatically controls the height of the filling web. If the box is empty, the head piece is completely lowered and then the product is gently transferred with the aid of the guide rubber flap (DROP-STOP) in interaction with the plastic cover.

• The special shape of the conveyor flights and additional, adjustable devices for braking the crop flow minimise rolling movements and thus improve a gentle filling process.

• When the maximum filling height is reached, the box is optimally filled by retracting the filling elevator. Then the conveyor automatically changes its conveying direction and starts the filling of the next box.

• The infinitely adjustable belt speed enables an optimum crop flow.

• With a forklift, the boxes can be easily placed in the frame for the box position.

• Constant low discharge height for a gentle box filling

• Wavelike belt with flights and adjustable break systems at both ends reduce crop rotation

• Comfortable operation via operator terminal type GBT 840

• Optimum crop flow due to infinitely variable belt speed

• Simple positioning of the boxes at the box position frame
