2021 Grimme PS Series 511

The potato scooper, type PS 511, picks up the crop from the storage floor with high performance and transfers it to the following conveyors. The Scooper with its range of 11 m and a belt width of 50 cm convinces with its high throughput rate. Infinitely height adjustment at the discharge side for maximum gentle crop handling. The infinitely conveyor speed adjustment allows an optimum adoption to the various conditions. The hydraulic steering and the hydraulic drive provide a comfortable, fast and precise positioning of the machine. The infinitely variable adaptation of the range makes it possible to shift the position of the Scooper without having to move the storage line.

• The infinitely variable adjustment of the conveyor speed allows optimum adaptation to various conditions as well as high throughput rates. SoftFlow can be installed at all transfer points. SoftFlow is the simple solution for a gentle and crop-protecting transfer from one conveyor to the next via soft, flexible and self-cleaning PU-fingers.

• The trough-shaped belt with its so-called "walking side walls" (without differential speed to the frame of the conveyor) enables gentle conveying of the crop and a high transport capacity.

• The stored crop is gently lifted by a pick-up conveyor and thus passes gently onto a following conveyor.

• For easy adaptation to downstream equipment, the discharge can be adjusted infinitely in height. The large swivelling angle between the Potato Scooper and the telescopic belt allows flexible positioning. The mobile, half-round rail enables a simple setting of a fix discharge point for downstream conveyors.

• The strong, closed design of the frame allows all rotating parts, such as rollers, to be protected for long service life.

• Optimum crop flow due to an infinitely variable belt speed.

• Trough-shaped belt and active side panels achieve gentle conveying
