The new FA 200 is a real all-rounder. For under-root fertilisation, the frame of the two row front cultivator Type FA 200 can be fitted with a 650 litre 2.2 metre wide fertilizer bunker, which can comfortably be filled with a front loading bucket. The advantage of the under-root fertilisation is that the potato is stimulated for an even root development. A unique feature is, that the feed of the fertilizer from the hopper to the spreaders is completely locked, so that dust and large lumps of fertilizer can not block the cooler etc. For cultivation in beds there are two wheels with perfect traction to ensure a secure drive of the fertiliser box and an accurate deposit of fertilizer at all times. For use in conventional cultivation, the fertiliser spreader is driven by a cage roller. The GRIMME tank system TS 420 is authorized for liquid seed dressing onto the seed potatoes and/or into the furrow. It is available with a volume of 2 x 200 litres. By using the machine as a front cultivator with ridging bodies, soil compaction by the tractor wheels can be avoided. In order to reduce the number of passes by tractors over the soil, the front mounted device is used in tandem with a suitable planting machine.
Combining work stepsThe combination of a potato planter (rear mounted) with a extended fertilizer spreader (front mounted) enable to realize an under-root fertilisation as well as the application of liquid seed dressing and furrow treatment agent in a single pass with potato planting.
Protection against the aggressive dust of mineral fertilisersProtection against aggressive fertiliser dusts by a completely closed supply of the fertiliser from the hopper to the spreader.
Exact dosageDrive and setting of the fertiliser output via sprockets.
Optimum accessibilityThe 2.2 m wide fertiliser box can be filled easily.
