2021 Grimme ASA-LIFT WR 135
135 cm working width, mounted windrower for onionsThe WR 135 is a mounted windrower for onions, designed for multiple applications. For the entry into mechanized harvesting of onions or for so-called two-phase (discontinous) harvesting processes for dried, well-storable onions. The windrower is equipped with two consecutive main webs as standard. The crop is gently taken in, cleaned and placed in a swath on the surface of the ground, so that the crop can dry and thus become shell-resistant and storable. The machine can be adapted to different harvesting conditions by means of various intake units and other options.
Features may include:
- Compact and robust machine
- Mounted machine, improves handling and manoeuvrability on the headland
- Highest sieving output and gentle crop handling by use of manual adjustable agitators
- Reduces the intake of trash in the following work step
- Option: the buffer bunker prevents the loss of crop on the headland and thus provides more space for manoeuvring
- Main field of application is the two-phase (discontinous) harvesting process
- Gentle placement of the onions on the soil surface by use of a crop placement chute made of plastic (PVC)
- The bed roller ensures a levelled and stable soil so that the crop does not sink in and thus better dry off
